Jane Astbury

Jane joins Prosper after three years working as a podiatrist in Launceston, Tasmania. Jane is interested in all aspects of podiatry, from musculoskeletal injuries of the lower limb and foot to skin pathology and dermatology.

Jane has completed extra training neuro-sensory training and will approach each case with an open-mind, always considering the neuromuscular perspective for every patient. She will also utilise these concepts in the treatment and rehabilitation of those with chronic disease and illness.

Jane has always involved herself in community sports with interests in netball, football and running. Acknowledging the benefits of an active lifestyle, Jane believes that ‘movement is medicine’ for people of all ages and knows how important it is to get her patients back on their feet.
