Prosper Health Group are proud to announce that for 2020 we will be partnering with the Otway Rotaract Club. We view this as a wonderful way in which we can contribute to a local group that are making a positive impact in our Colac community.
Prosper will be contributing $1 from every consultation to Otway Rotaract for a 12 month period. We hope that this will add up over the year to make a significant difference to the work that the club can carry out as well as raise the profile of the club via advertising within our clinic.
For those that don’t know, Otway Rotaract is a group of enthusiastic young people who dedicate time to helping our local community. The group launched in 2016 with the goal of making sustainable positive change around the Colac region.
They achieve this through a number of initiatives including the ‘Eat Up’ school lunch program for disadvantaged children, volunteering time to help coordinate local all inclusive social events (such as their upcoming trivia night on March 13th) and helping to fund local sporting opportunities as they have done with funding dance classes in the past and currently sponsoring the CDCA girls’ cricket league.
Otway Rotaract also devote time and resources to bigger picture projects including funding a Shelterbox disaster relief tent, reaching out to the Sri Lankan community after last year’s terror attacks, assisting on the Pink Up Colac committee for the McGrath Foundation and promoting mental health awareness every year on R U OK Day.
